DD haircut- long to very short! pics

Thanks so much for all the wonderful compliments on my daughter's hair cut. I'm afraid if I let her read all these replies her head is going to swell. :teeth:

Like several people mentioned, it really does change her whole look. None of her friends have hair as short as her cut and I think she likes the different look. For the first time this year she is doing a solo dance number, probably modern/lyrical, at a few dance competitions and she likes the idea of the short hair.

And yes, she does have gorgeous eyes! You just can't see them behind those sunglasses in the picture with the long hair. Comes from my side of the family! No, really! :rotfl2:

OMG! What a major change in her look but I LOVE IT!

It really is a beautiful cut and look for her.

She is a very beautiful girl.

Thanks! When she came home from the salon and showed her dad, he just stared at her for a few seconds then exclaimed, "Wow, you're beautiful!" My daughter looked at him like, "Whaaaaaaaaaat?!?! I was ugly before?!?" Right away my husband realized how it sounded and he elaborated, "No, I mean you've always been pretty, I just mean you can REALLY see it now!" :teeth:

Beautiful!!!

Both my girls did the long to short today.....going to take a bit to get used to my older girls....it's amazing what a good haircut will do!!!

very cute! it makes her look older too which she probably loves.

Ah, I was wondering about that, but I didn't want to lead anyone by asking if she looks older. I think she's hoping it'll make her look older because she has always looked a lot younger than her age. I'm sure her small size has a lot to do with it, also.

Even with the short hair, though, when I see her with her friends, they still look older. :confused3

Wow! She looks really good with short hair. Beautiful! :thumbsup2

Short hair really is so much easier to take care of. Now if only I could live by my own words...

Very NICE!!! :thumbsup2

I have short thick hair. Even shorter than hers. I've had various versions of my cut for about 17 yrs. Won't go back to anything longer. I get out of shower, brush into place, no additional product in hair, no blow dry. And out the door. When I arrive to where ever I'm going, give one final brush to put into place now that it's dry...and that's it! My hairdresser LOVES my hair, & says my hair makes HER look good. LOL

I think the haircut is really cute and I agree with everyone else, your dd has beautiful eyes.

Oh WOW!!!!!!!!!! I SO wish I could pull off a haircut like that!

My daughter's hair has a lot of natural body to it and is quite thick, so I think it will hold the style well. Like you, all she does is shampoo and brush into place. So easy!

I've kept my hair short for many, many years, but it's super straight and has to be cut with more layers in order to give it any body or shape.

Great cut. It looks fantastic on her. She has beautiful eyes as everyone else said, but also a very beautiful face.
