Well, I have to say, the MRI machine has got to be the LOUDEST machine I have ever heard!
They were nice enough to let me stay in the room with her, which made us both feel a whole lot better.
They gave me the films before we left and are faxing the report to the orthopedic doctor but they did tell me that if I want a copy of the report (which I do!!), I can stop by there tomorrow and pick it up. I am glad about this as I really don't think I can wait two weeks to get the results.
If you have some spare
, it will be greatly appreciated!!
All the technician would say was "I can't read them...all I can say it there is A LOT of bruising in there". Does this sound like good news or bad??!!

for your daughter. When do you see the dr again?
Any ideas?!! From what I can figure out, it seems like swelling in the bone marrow?? When I googled this information
, everything I came up with seemed to show information on osteoarthritis!
Guess we wait and see.........
. It sounds like there was some kind of trauma to the area that resulted in some swelling, so basically it is a sprained knee of sorts. My guess is that they will allow her out of the immobilizer and have her ice and take an anti-inflammatory (Advil probably). Don't do anything until you hear from the dr. of course. I would call your Dr now and see what he says and not wait until her Feb 2 appointment.
