DD for Day after thanksgiving- More Crowded?

This is our 3rd yr in a row going to WDW for Thanksgiving, and i don't remember, if we ever went to Downtown Disney for the friday after.. Do you think it will be more crowded than usual due to the "day after" being the "busiest shopping day"? I am trying to decide what day to get my dd an appt. at BBB.

I have never been there before but I honestly cant see it being any different then any other day. I know that its black friday but I think its still considered more of a vacation spot then it is a mall theme..

It's been awhile, but we arrived the Friday after Thanksgiving in 2002. We arrived late afternoon & our tickets/package didn't start until the next day. We decided to go to DD for atmosphere & dinner. It was slammed! The wait for RFC was 3 hours. It was wall to wall people everywhere! We finally ate at Wolfgang Puck Express. We didn't encounter anywhere the rest of the week as crowded as DD that evening. Daytime probably wouldn't be as bad, though, with more people going to the parks.
