You could probably get away cheaper without the DDP. That's what I would look into.

I feel I could eat for about 30% less than the cost of the DDP - for our party.

Of course not, I wouldn't do the wrong thing just because I'm strapped for cash. That doesn't justify cheating Disney out of money and not abiding by the rules they set for their services.
