DD Abby has Pneumonia..

DD Abby has been coughing really bad the past couple of days. She's had a really runny nose and a fever on and off, so we thought it was a bad cold.

DW brought her into the Dr just to be checked out and they said she had pneumonia. So she's on some antibiotics and if she's not improved by Thursday she will have to go into the hospital for some IV medicine.

So.... Prayer and Pixie dust for Abby!!

Poor thing! I had pneumonia when I was 11, and I still remember feeling pretty awful. I also remember that the antibiotics worked wonders, and I was feeling much better in no time. I will say a prayer for little Abby's health right now.

I'm sorry.

I got pneumonia when I was about 7. I know it was definitely hard on my parents too because I was so young and had to stay in the hospital for a few days.

I hope everything gets better for her!

Poor Baby!

A co-workers 4YO was diagnosed with pnumonia last week.

The good news is that she should perk RIGHT up with the antibiotics. I'll bet she is like a new kid tomorrow afternoon.

DS had it 2 years ago, and it is harder on us, than it is on them.

Here are some prayers for Abby. DS got pneumonia at 14 months. She also gave him a couple of days to improve, but with antibiotics and breathing treatments (THAT was fun with a sick, cranky 14 month old!) he improved quickly. DD#1 still remembers walking our dog (then a puppy) across the street and hearing DS scream and fight me all the way over there!
