DD 3rd birthday ideas?

Hello All,
My daughter will be turning three on our trip down to WDW in July. We have ressies for POR and I have added on the Silver Plan for this trip. I think I am going to take her to the Crystal Palace for the lunch buffet that day but I'd like some other affordable ideas to make her day special. She is really into the Disney Princesses and Minnie Mouse. Do the CMs at the resort ever do anything special to the rooms for birthdays?

1900 Park Fare at GF has an afternoon tea party with Alice in Wonderland. My girls have never been, but it sounds really cute.

One piece of advice about Crystal Palace. Dinner is not much more expensive, and the food is better. All-you-can-eat prime rib....YUMMY!

I just thought of something your daughter may enjoy since she loves the Princesses!

Akershus in Norway at Epcot has a character meal with the Princesses! You may want to look into that!

I just celebrated my DS's 3rd birthday at Crystal Palace on Jan 10th. I had ordered a cake (through concierge so I'm not quite sure who baked it but it was delivered to the CP not baked there). So they knew it was his birthday and they decorated the table with Mickey Mouse confetti and streamers. I had brought Pooh birthday hats with us and Tigger was a great sport trying one on. I liked having lunch vs dinner so that my DS was not cranky.

We had stopped at City Hall on the way into Magic Kingdom and got a birthday button. DS LOVED it but wouldn't let up put it on-he wanted to hold it. He may have gotten more attention if he was wearing it but he just loved holding it and that was really cute.
