Those of you who have met DD#2 Abby know that she had a blocked tear duct that we were hoping would resolve itself. It didn't and we had to do surgery to get it corrected.
The doctor had to do what we called an 'eye angioplasty'.
Basically they put one of those expanding balloon probes down through her tear duct until they find the blockage (in this case it was a webbing that covered the end of the duct). Inflate to break the blockage open and you're done.
About 10 mins for the surgery and now her eye is 100% better. Mommy was worried about getting it done - we are all feeling much better about it now.
