DD 11 now...child's menu selection?

We're going to be in WDW this Friday and since I just noticed that Concourse Steakhouse has this rainbow grilled cheese, I wondered if my dd can still order it? I know the age changed for pricing as far as children's meals go...but she loves grilled cheese and I've always told her she can't get that in WDW!! Shows how much I know. Anyone know if she can still order it at the ripe old age of 11?

The age on the children's menus now goes up to age 9 to coincide with the dining plan making a child an "adult" at 10. There has been various reports that if a person (doesn't have to be a child) over the age of 9 orders off the children's menu, they will be charged double the price, but will also get double the food. It is a relataively new rule and enforcement is probably up to the individual server. So, your 11 YO can order the grilled cheese, but you might be charged $10 instead of $5 for it.

We're just back and the servers were happy to let my DD 10 and DS 13 order from the children's menu if that was what they wanted. Very early on they learned that the adult portions were just too big for them and way too much food was going to waste. We told the servers their ages and explained that it was just too much food. The kids were given the choice between both menus and ordered what they believed they were going to be able to eat. We were never told they could not order from that menu and we were never charged anything more.
