DCP question

Hi everyone! I have a question concerning the Disney College Program. I am considering doing it sometime within the next few years. Does anyone know how many hours on average you work in a semester? Does it vary by position? Thanks!!

Yes, it varies between roles and locations.
As CPs we are usually scheduled minimum 30-35 hours per week.
But if you work qsfb at magic kingdom for example, your hours can be wayyy more than that, especially during the holidays.

I did my CP a reaaaally long time ago but I was Epcot QSFB/F&WW and I worked between 40-45 hours every week. Not sure how much it's changed since then.

In merchandise at the magic kingdom during the summer I was averaging right around 50 hours, during the slow times around 37 hours, and the week leading up to Christmas until the week after New Years 70 hours or more depending on if I got force extended or not. The was once person I worked with who was scheduled 86 hours, though to be fair she DID sign up for extra hours and pick up an extra 12 hour shift.

 

[Musings]

I always had more hours than I wanted, even during a slow week. My minimum was usually around 36 and maximum, one week I had about 76 hours!!

I worked at Magic Kingdom though. They always get long hours.
