I will be applying for the DCP at the end of this month...
In the interest of organization, I have tried to look up the pay scale for each of the various roles, but I have been unsuccessful. :worried: I want to have as much money to spend on Disney food as possible, and I would really prefer to plan ahead. If anyone has personal knowledge about the average wage for each role, I would really appreciate it. I assume most roles earn around minimum wage at $7.93 an hour, but will that be increasing before the Spring program starts? And are there certain roles that tend to earn more than others? Please, let me know. popcorn::

I worked Merch Fall 2013 and was paid $7.79 an hour, now I believe it's $8.03. I don't think there is anything lower than that but I've heard photopass gets more and that lifeguards are paid the most but that might have changed.

Worked as a cook summer 2013 and made $8.45 an hour. QSR made $7.65 an hour while I was there but obviously FL minimum wage has gone up since then. And i think I heard that life guards were making $10/hr but that seems pretty high for a CP

My CP started 10 years ago this month. Just looked back at my old paystubs. For Traditions, I made $5.15 an hour (Federal minimum wage back then), and my regular rate was $6.00/hr.

when i was there for Fall 2012. i worked QSFB in Magic Kingdom and I made over $8. i don't remember the exact amount but i know if you work QSFB at MK you make a little more than someone that works at animal kingdom..

don't have exact numbers, but magic kingdom cast members are paid a premium and generally get more hours than cast members at the other parks. lifeguards make the highest as their job is the hardest/most risky.

Only some roles. I worked attractions in mk and did not get a premium. Or scheduled more than 32 hours my entire program. My first week and last week I got scheduled 40 but other than that it was 30-32. Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

I was an ICP in 2013 and I worked in Blizzard Beach in QSFB. I was paid $8 an hour and then if I went into overtime (which usually happened when we were closing the main restaurant as we had to clean the floors as well) then it was $12 an hour. I only got overtime when I closed the restaurant and maybe only gained an extra hour overtime a week if that!

DCP and ICP are paid less than anyone else, eg the part timers were paid $8.40 an hour when they did the same job as us but they were always complaining for more hours!!

I am currently on the program and while I can't speak for all of the roles, these are the ones I know people i and have asked:

QSFB: $8 (MK gets a $.75 premium)

FSFB: $7.93

Housekeeping: I'm fairly certain she said $8.50

Merch: $7.93

Character performer: $8.75 I think?
