DCP drop off- logistics

excuse me if this has been coved elsewhere but some threads are soooo long... Dropping off my DD for theDCP. She'll have a specific time to register, but can someone give me some idea of how long the process will take? Is she gone for an hour or two or done pretty quick? I know that the kids go to casting at some point and is that done prior to move in? Thanks for insight or any links to the answers. (actually I'm just wondering if I'll have time to go to the parks! )

She may go to casting right away after check-in or she may not go at all the day of check-in. It just depends. My DD checked in a 9 am and went to casting a 1pm that day. Some of her roommates didn't go to casting until the next day.

Yes. DD and her 3 roommates arrived at 8 am. She and two others went to casting and didn't finish until mid afternoon. The other girl was done before lunch. The next couple days their intro stuff was all over the place and of course their training completely different.
