We are looking at the Sept 4th Sailing and my sister and brother -in-law are thinking of joining us. DD is 12 and DS is 10 but my sister's kids are all grown up and won't be joinging my family! Can they still have a good time on DCL? Anybody out there ever cruised Disney without kids?

Yes and going again in July without them.
Disney does an excellent job (that's a whole different thread though ;) ) of keeping the "adults only" areas just that. The nightclubs are fun and there's nothing more romantic than a moonlight stroll around the decks late at night.

We'll actually be on the September 4th sailing but with the kids that time so we hope to see you there!

My husband and I are taking our sons, ages 16 and 13, on the August 28th sailing, and his sister and brother in law (who have grown kids), are going too! They don't seem to think they'll have any problem having a great time on the cruise. All of us adults are planning to do the Romantic Escape at Sea package which includes a couples' massage and dinner at the adults-only restaurant Palo, plus a champagne breakfast in bed and a few other things. Like tstobb said, Disney does a great job of keeping kids away from the adults-only areas of the ship. I think your sister and brother in law will have a great time on the cruise with you :)

Abolutely!

We don't have kids and had a blast on our cruise aboard the Wonder. There is plenty to do for adults. For me, just being able to walk the deck at night while the ship is sailing is good enough. I can't wait for my next cruise!

Well so far on 6 Disney cruises with no children and We love them ... we have 7 and 8 planned

Go believe me u will not regret it.....

No kids for us (yet!), and we made the mistake of doing a 4 night DCL cruise for our Honeymoon. The only thing I can say, is we will never make that mistake again....

Only 7 night DCL's for us from now on! We felt so strongly about this mistake that we are making up for it by doing back to backs this fall! :hyper: In fact, our reasoning is that we want to really enjoy ourselves one last time before we buckle down for the kid thing, and we think DCL is a great place to do it! Where else can you go to wine tasting, get a massage, enjoy a beautiful "serene" beach, go to a Goofy pool party, and run into Capt Hook? They will have a blast....but hopefully they like Disney, at least a little bit....that is a requirement, IMHO, or else dancing along with Goofy and running into Capt Hook won't be all that fun!

Ex-GF and I took the 3-nighter last year...well, we became "ex" afterwards, at least! This year I'm going stag (although I know it's not the best cruise for singles, I'm looking forward to the time alone!).

Trust me, there is a LOT to do without kids. The spa experience (see inkognito's trip report on her site: http://www.castawayclub.com ), the clubs, just sitting around doin' nuthin' on Serenity Bay's beach...even hitting the casino at Atlantis. There's an adult-only pool. An adult-only beach. An adult-only restaurant....They will NOT be bored. And if, like me, they're even remotely Disney=holic, they'll have an absolute BLAST.

Hubby and I have done 37 Disney cruises without kids, and we have 4 more this year and 5 more in 2005 already booked. My website at www.castawayclub.com has lots of trip reports about our experiences. Personally, I think DCL offers a much better adult experience than RCCL due to the adults-only areas.
