So I am a little confused, when booking a Disney Cruise Line wedding, are there discounted rates for the wedding party or does everyone pay full price to go on the cruise.
Sorry if that's a stupid question!!

Thanks Claire!
That's unfortunate, it definitely seemed like the least expensive way to have a Disney Wedding, but to expect 20 people to pay over 1,000$ to be a part of it, might be a little much.

Yeah good for the bride and groom, bad for the guests. You never know though they might be willing.

That $1000 includes their food and room and entertainment though. Even if they came for 3 nights for a park wedding, that is still minimum $300 for room to stay on site and probably another $300 for food depending on the family size, plus park tickets if they want to do that. So overall not too different for the guests if they don't just fly in to see the wedding and fly back out again.

better than Aulani (which we are currently looking into for our wedding)

average price for 7 nights $4,500
again we average this price

that's even with a wedding discount on the rooms
though I think you could get a better deal on your own
as there is no set wedding discount- it's based upon capacity, season, and other factors.

you don't want to know the total price out of pocket for our guest to visit Aulani
(air, room, food, experiences) it's not for the faint of heart.

we are also exploring a DCL wedding...as it's an attractive option for guest

Cruise is an attractive option as it's room, food, drink, entertainment, seeing more than one place etc. all for ONE price

what we have seen from past DCL wedding couples...they tend to have more guest come than a more traditional destination wedding.

but everyones situation is different- and we understand that. Though we know that's how most couples 'sell' their guest on the ship option
