DCL wedding onboard photography

Does anyone have any links for DCL wedding pics taken by the onboard photographer. We are getting married on the Disney Magic next March and I am not sure if we want to go with the on board photographer or have a family member do the pics. We are in touch with the MK photo shoot rep to set up that, but we aren't sure if we want to spend another $1000 on the onboard pics if they aren't worth it.

Any stories, examples, etc?

P.s. I checked out the wedding photo sticky but the only DCL wedding link that was in there, the link doesn't work.

Its chock full of DCL Brides and many post their pictures on the board

I would also love to see as many DCL wedding shots as possible as I've heard more bad than good about photography onboard. I've considered bringing in an outside photography to take pictures. Does anyone know if Disney can provide videography as well? If not, can I hire an outside vendor to do video or is this not allowed?

We had the onboard photographer through DCL, take a peek at my TR here. Our photographer was Goran, and I'm really happy with what he was able to do.

I was also very specific about the photos I did and did not want. I created contact sheets of photos from both sets. I took photos from threads here as well as through Flickr searches and more. I gave the contact sheets to our planner once onboard.

If you choose to hire your own photographer in exchange for a room or otherwise there's two distinct advantages; the first is you know exactly what you are getting in terms of quality of photographer and you can see a portfolio ahead of time. The second advantage is time, we had a good amount with our photographer, but there are no pro pics of getting ready, or photos through the remainder of the trip.

I am bringing my photographer with me...she is going to take pictures of the wedding/before/after and then at two dinner seating's on the cruise as well! She is doing this in exchange for her cruise fare which would have been the same cost of what Disney charges for their photos...I heard some bad reviews and to be honest the pics are one of the most important aspects of my wedding and was not leaving that to chance! If you would like her info/web page let me know, I am sure she would do your wedding as well (As long as it don't conflict with mine LOL)

I find her to be very reasonable and it is costing me less to pay for her room with a guest then to go with Disney's photography...I will have to pay for the photos or wedding books she makes but then again, photos are my ultimate with my wedding

We are emailing back and forth too with ideas about where to take photos and ideas..she has really been wonderful! She is also on the boards
