DCL Website help

Little confused with new website. I have two rooms booked, I have added both reservations to my Cruise reservations. I then click on explore activities which does bring up my party itinerary, but when I click on any of the 3 choices it exits my out and back to my cruise reservations. I am paid in full on both rooms but can't do online check in for about 10 days, but I thought used to be able to look at the cruise activities that are available. I don't want a problem when I can do online check in? Thanks

You won't be able to see the specific excursions that you can book until your window opens. That is, specific as to what time the excursions are going to be.

You can look at what excursions are typically offered on your itinerary by hovering over "Things to do" and clicking on "Port Adventures" in the pull down menu. Then scroll down until you find your itinerary/area and click on the little right pointing arrow underneath the picture. That will take you to a page that shows what port adventures are typically available for that itinerary.
 
I had nothing but problems a few weeks ago when we had 2 rooms...I hope your experience is better because it really turned me off and will have me second guessing booking another Dis cruise. I ended up creating a second login in for the 2nd room and was able to have most of the functionality I should have. Booking excursions was another whole issue. When I called for help....I wasn't really happy to find out there help consist of guiding you through the website, they would just note when I had errors and what I saw. I had to put pressure on them to book an excursion over the phone. They claim they really are not supposed to do that, just guide you through the website. I near lost my %^&$ when they told me they would not be able to help me again if I continued to have website issues, lets just say I had a few choice words for everyone on the end of the phone as well as their supervisors and managers....

The website issues were on both PC (IE and firefox) and MAC (chrome and safari) so it was not on our end, all they kept having me do was clear cookies/cache, just ridiculous

The main point to my post was I really thought the 2 linked reservations was the cause, again hope you have better luck then me

BTW the only way I could do online check in was under separate logins, one for each res, even though they were "linked"...

No problems on the cruise that all went smooth!

Oh yeah if you have minor children in one of the rooms you may want to check this out https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/...ions/parental-debarkation-authorization-form/ we had to fill one out at guest services the first night...

Each reservation has always had to do their online check in separately. At least as long as we've been cruising DCL.

Being linked only means that someone on one reservation can book others (in the linked reservation) on the same excursions (as long as both rooms are in the the same booking window), and that you'll be seated at the same table for dinner.

You could be right but that was not how it was explained to me by the booking agent (Dis direct) I should know better not to trust anything anyone on the other end of a phone says...I couldn't book excursions from either res, the website was just all around horrible. I honestly chalked it up to some glitch with the 2 rooms. The phone support on the other hand, smh. How do you tell someone that they will not be able to help you again?

Wow, I thought something isn't right. I thought it used to show the price of my cruise, how much I paid and where we were going to be each day. Now it just take me back to the two reservations page. No issues with the second login, I just created it with the name / dob / res# of the second room, that part worked surprisingly well. I was able to use the credit card from room "A" primary guest to cover the guests in room "B". My biggest issue was the excursions, I couldn't book from either res...it was ridiculous

Well I stayed up till midnight to complete my on-line check in and except for a slow website everything went simply and without any problems!! sorry but we love getting the 10:30 arrival time!!. Thanks 2yl's as I took your recommendation and set up a second account for the 2nd reservation and I was able to do both check ins at the same time(on two different computers). I made sure I cleared my cookies on all computers that I has log onto. I used explorer on one computer and google chrome the other. I did notice that in regards to excursions I have to go into the excursions for each day, but other than that no problems. Thanks to everyone for your help!!!!:)
 
I was having glitches such as it logging us out, returning up to the "main page" of our reservation, etc., prior to the date of online check in- but once we did that we have had no problems since, booked palo for bunch and dinner, and can view excursions to book with no problem. We only have one room and not two.
