If you were given a choice between 14 days at Disneyworld in a one bedroom or a 14 day cruise which would you pick? :listen:

Hmmm...that's a tough one! But I'd probably have to go with the Cruise. Mostly because our WDW trips are more frequent than Disney Cruises.

Just wanted to add: The other bonus to choosing the cruise is that food is already paid for so you might end up saving a few $$$ in the long-run if that matters to you. Plus, think about all the beautiful ports you'd get to see!

Yep, cruise for sure!!! :cloud9:

wow, they really are such different vacations for me.if i were going on the cruise i'd be looking for some relaxation, where as wdw we're going all the time. i know one thing for sure, i'd gain a few pounds on the cruise and i'd lose a few pounds going to wdw.

DVC.

I associate DVC with kids sleeping in a different room and a lot of space. A cruise ship with a tiny cabin. Perhaps in a suite I'd feel differently.

I can enjoy almost everything I can enjoy on a cruise ship at Disney. Good Food. Pools. Sunshine. I have a lot more flexibility - if I feel like sitting by the pool, I can. If I want to go to the parks I can.

Cruising is very relaxing, but fourteen days is a long time to be on a ship! I'd go stir crazy. You get off the ship on their schedule. The pools aren't nearly big enough to keep everyone happy for two weeks.

Great points. I was leaning towards the cruise for CRSNDSNY's reasons however unless we had a suite 14 days would be too small a space with my husband never mind our daughter ;)

No question about it...the cruise! We would be fine in a 10 or 8 with the 4 of us. WDW is work to run around & get in line for everything. It is so relaxing for us on the cruise & the kids always have a blast. If we went for 14 days, I would be able to do a couple more of the adults only entertainment classes that they have like cooking & behind the sceans tours.

DVC without a doubt! While we really enjoy DCL, I really think 14 days would be too long unless we were talking about a very full and exotic itinerary. WDW has such a variety of things to see and do and DVC accomodations are great. Not to mention at WDW we can come and go as we please without too much planning ahead.
