Can I use the DCL transportation at all Dvc resorts (on property of course)? If so, which I think is the answer, what time do they pick you up for port and drop you back off?

(mods please move if I'm in the wrong forum- lol I'm not sure )
if this is a Dvc, transportation or DCL forum question!!)

DCL offers transportation to/from all WDW Resorts with the exception of Fort Wilderness. The cost is $35 per person each way. They will leave information on your door the day prior with information regarding your cruise transfers including what time the bus will leave the resort. The bus may make up to 3 stops before reaching Port Canaveral.

From PC to WDW, as soon as you get off the ship they will direct you to a bus based on your resort. The bus will leave as soon as it's full. Again, it may make up to 3 stops on the way to your resort.

We have taken the DCL bus twice from OKW. The pickup time was around noon both times, give or take 15 minutes.

We have only taken it back to a resort once. We were off the ship around 8am and got on a van which left within 5 minutes. We could have taken the bus but the wait to depart would have been longer due to trying to fill it.

Thanks! I would really like to be there 11:30 vs leaving resort then, so I'll probably try a town car service instead, then I can stop and get bottled water too!

So, if you stay at DVC the night before the cruise, you can leave your car at the resort and take the bus for $35 a person, or are you not allowed to leave your car for the duration of the cruise?

It depends. We were staying at OKW before and after a cruise and the front desk manager told us we could leave the car in a particular location and it would be noted for security. We opted to drive to the port so we didn't actually leave our car at OKW. For locations with less parking available it might have been an issue.

You can take magical express to the airport and then pay the $35 to the port. We did this last month and it worked great. We were on the. 930 bus and had a total of maybe 10 min in the pier until boarding started.
