DCL Reservation Agent providing direct contact details

For the first time ever, the reservations agent I spoke with today provided me with their direct phone number and email address. I also notice that the phone number is on the emailed reservation confirmation I received. Is this a new thing? Am I now meant to call her directly for any changes etc.?
 
Before I became a TA, we had a specific Disney rep that we booked thru. We had her email and direct phone number and would just call her directly for anything we needed. This was a couple of years ago.
 
I was assigned one after we did an OBB last fall. She is SO very nice. The one I talked to gave me her email address and direct line as well. I guess she is the supervisor over all of these "specialists" (DCL cruise planner). She said that any of her staff could also help me, but she said she just happened to answer my call that day.

You can email her and actually get a response (usually the same day). She will also continue to notify you of anything specific you're looking for.
