My friend just got this e-mail in her work inbox. What makes me think it isn't real is that it talks about casino jobs, and we all know that DCL doesn't have casinos. What do you think?

Did you cut and paste that directly? Because the suburb is Mascot, not Masort. Which is a bit of a giveaway. Add to which, DCL (and I think every other cruise line) hires spa services and photographic services through other companies, not direct employment. And, the English isn't great in the last paragraph either.

OK - appears to be a scam that has been around for a while: http://antifraudintl.org/threads/mrs-anna-bryan-disney-cruise-line-australia.85722/

Seems I win a cruise every week from a robo call. What are the odds!:crazy2::crazy2:

Well, if it's on the internet, it's obviously real. How much money does she need to send in?

MUN

Its a fake, if for no other reason then a *DECK CADET* would not be hired or payed. They do ship board duty to get there *Sea Time* in to sit for their license exams. The
Maritime school arrange for them to join various ships.

Considering I just got off the Dream and it was said that Austrailia and Asia are not in the radar, Id go with scam. The other giveaway is that its not a DCL or Disney address.

I would think that an official email from DCL would have a DCL.com email address and not something that is the equivalent of a free yahoo account.

Hiring a priest?? :rotfl2: Perhaps he's the cast member whose salary starts at 6,750-USD.

If the original message contained that many grammar and spacing errors, there is NO way it's from DCL. :)

While I'm not questioning that this is a scam, the standard form letter I received from concierge at AKL when I stayed Club Level back in February was so full of typographical errors I wanted to weep. (I can paste for reference but I'm sure many people got the same email.)

Also DCL refuses to fix the spelling of my last name in their system, which should contain two capital letters. They say it's not technically possible.
