Even though Andrew wasn't a part of our regular serving team, he did take care of us twice at Parrot Cay during our embarkation lunch. He called my mom the Cottage Cheese Lady. In May 2006, the first time we met him, my mom had asked if there was any cottage cheese and black olives around. Andrew went on a wild search, he found the cottage cheese, but never did find any black olives, but not from a lack of trying mind you. From then on, my mom was known at the Cottage Cheese Lady. The pic above is of my mom and Andrew, it was taken during our August 2006 cruise one night at dinner. Andrew was serving on our rotation a few tables over from us, but he made it a point to come over and visit a few times when he could.

I have enjoyed sharing them with my family and they have only increased our anticipation for our trip. Keep the pictures coming! I look forward to posting our pictures when we get back. Ah yeah, I remember when I first found this thread and was so excited to actually SEE the ship - looking for the details in all the pictures, the backgrounds, etc. Definitely a great way to get ready. And also you'll find when you're taking pictures on your trip that you'll think "oh yeah, I want this one so I can share it on Picture of the Day." Can't wait to see your trip!

I LOVE this picture, it is so precious with your daughter looking up at Cinderella while they walk away.
If this was mine I would have to frame it and hang it where I could see it everyday.

DMom and DDad! I loved those sand wheelchair! Even though my DDad can't walk he was still able to enjoy a little bit of Castaway. His asking when are we going back again!

Thanks for the pics. I'm so glad to hear the many stories of how Disney has made vacations special for so many. We have always found them willing and able to help us in any situation. And that has ranged from making access easier for those who need it to stopping to give a crying child a hug, a smile and a sticker to make it all better. DH and his best friend, who had visited the parks a couple of times together as kids and teens have a favorite phrase whenever they hear a story like this..."Only Disney" And that's why we keep coming back.
