DCL pick up from WL?

Does the DCL bus pick up from the Wilderness Lodge?

How did you arrange the cruiseline bus picking you up at the Wilderness Lodge? I asked a few months ago and was told that it was not one of the resorts that the bus picked up from. And it is not listed as one of the resorts on the DCL website. I know that they drop off at all resorts after the cruise but do not pick up from all.

I just e-mailed my DU agent yesterday regarding the same situation. She responded that the typical pick-up time at the WL is 11:45.

I too thought that the only resorts that had pick-up were those included in the land/sea package. I was pleasantly surprised by the response.

I would call DCL directly and make sure as I think your travel agent may be getting the Wilderness Lodge confused with the Animal Kingdom Lodge. AKL is partnered up with DCL the WL is not.

When I took the 11 night wonder cruise, I stayed at WL before the cruise, and I was picked up by DCL at 11:45. The only differance was that they don't collect your luggage at 8 like at the resorts listed on the web site.

Does this mean that they do not collect your luggage ahead of time and you have to take it to the bus with you? We would rather stay at the WL before cruises but have never done so because DCL told us it was not one of the pick up resorts.

from what I understand, you can call bell services and they will hold it thill the bus gets there. We decided to just hold onto our bags until the DCL rep showed up. he then saw how many bags there were and he called for one of the trucks topick up our bags. I must admit as much as Ilike the WL (it is my fav) I rather stay ata resort listed on the web site as it is just so much easier.
