DCL Merchandise Phone #?

Hey all! As you can see, we are planning our first ever cruise this coming December! We are not going to tell the boys we are taking a cruise, until MAYBE that morning as we head over to the cape. What I would like to do is maybe get a DCL Duffle bag, Tshirt, and pin to present them with that day. Maybe in the car on the way over? Maybe the night before as we pack? I may even pick up a few things here and there at the Disney Store..you get my idea. Is there a number I can call to order DCL merchandise? Do I just call the main Disney Merchandise Number? I have seen a few things on Ebay that I like, but I know I can sometimes get things cheaper by ordering direct! Thanks to all for your help!

also try ebay. there is a WEALTH of DCL merchandise listed. Beware of the stuff that you can get for free once onboard, like shampoo, luggage tags, postcards, etc. But the other stuff is great. I've purchased MANY gifts off of ebay for DH and kids. Prices are usually pretty reasonable as well.
have a blast...we did the surprise thing with our kids...twice at WDW, still not sure how we pulled it off twice...and once for the cruise. It was their Christmas present. My husband is a multimedia specialist, and we had been on the 7 day by ourselved, and booked the family cruise while onboard. We took a bunch of footage that we shot, and edited it together with Disney music. We let them open this as their present on Christmas. The very last thing we put in the video was a picture of CC from the air that I took while parasailing, and then dubbed in:"Victoria, Aaron, and Katharin, now that you've opened your presents, what are you gonna do?"
(This years surprise was a trip to England with my oldest daughter's best friend and her family...my ears are STILL ringing)
THey went bonkers. Be prepared for the screams!!!

Please let us know if they are now selling anything DCL at the WDW merch number. It has been an ongoing matter...some say they do, some say they don't....please let us know what you find out!!!

Back in 1998 we surprised our kids with the Maiden Voyage of the Disney Magic cruise. At the time WDW had a DCL preview area at the Magic Kingdom and sold DCL t-shirts.....I wrapped them up and gave them to them on Christmas morning '97. Here is a link to a pic.

The boys will be 7 and 9 at cruise time! This will be our Christmas gift to them as well. They both still believe in the "Big Guy" so I am going to have a neighbor help us by setting out a few gifts from him.


krhardy...I love the idea of a video! Too bad I didn't think of that in October when we were there....ALONE! We are going to stay at either the Hard Rock or the Royal Pacific when we get back from our cruise. They don't know that either....maybe I better have 2 surprise bags!

mmouse...those are the shirts I would LOVE to present them with! Your children are beautiful! They grow up just too dang fast!

I called that number, I too was hoping to get a couple of things before we get on board, but no good, she said they do not sell DCL merchandise off of the boat. Oh well, long line in the store I guess

Sillysmom and Crazy Cunninghams- we are cruising on the Magic this weekend. I would be happy to pick some things up for you and then mail them to you when we return on the 13th. (all you need to do is reimburse me, and pay shipping) Someone did this for me when we took our neice and nephew to WDW in August, so I'd like to "pass it on" if I can.

Same thing I was told when I called last September. Funny though, becasue I was looking for a specific shirt in a specific size that they were out of. The manager of the shop on the Wonder gave me the phone number of WDW merchandising and told me that the item was available from them. Well, no, they can not sell them because of duty and import laws. But she was able to tell me that they had them in stock in the warehouse, and that they had some in stock on the Magic.

They r Castaway club pins but I think they would work for your plan go to ebay to see a picture of them .....

Tarralee, I wanted to get lanyards, but my daughter wants to pick out her color when we get there. SO what I really, really want is a DCL pillowcase if they have them in the store. If they have that would you mind picking it up for me? If they don't I guess I'll try to do a transfer and iron it on a pillowcase. Thanks so much!

You all are just so great! I just came up with an idea! I will do the iron on transfers to a pillowcase with the boys names, the cruise logo and the travel dates. Then I will use those as the gift bag and put any goodies I find in there! Now, if I can just keep it a secret until then!

I did a transfer on a pillowcase for my son and it came out great. Added his name and date. Took it to guest services with sharpies and had it back on Friday with all the signatures! He was so thrilled!
