Welcome back, it's hard to get back to reality. We have been home almost 4 weeks and I so wish I was back on castaway cay.

It is so hard to be back. It has been 2 weeks now that we were at Castaway Cay and I would love to be there today. It is so cold here in Wisconsin! This was our 1st 7 night cruise and we just loved it. We so enjoyed those extra days on the ship. A 4 nighter seems too short now

We can't wait to go on this cruise. Just over 9 months now and that will be here before we know it! How did you like your Eastern cruise? I have always wanted to do an Eastern, but haven't yet. I hope to do one in the future sometime.

It was a western, we went 10/16. But we have also done the Eastern. I like Eastern for the extra sea day. I like the western too cause the ports are more fun!!! So any cruise is a good one. I too think the 4 days are too short. No time to relax.

Hi all! We have had a very busy weekend! We had our first grandchild on Sat. She is the most beautiful baby ever!!!! We have made our plane reservations. We will be arriving in Vancouver around 9:00 pm on Sat. We are not flying home until Wed morning. We leave Vancover at 6:30 am I think we will stay somewhere close to the airport.

Delta flight to Minneapolis? That's the one we're on. Wed at 6:30 AM. We decided to suck it up and stay in the Fairmont which is inside the airport.

Glad to have you aboard! I'll have a daughter close to your daughter's age too. Stephanie will be 7 1/2. We can't wait for this cruise either! 9 months from now You are lucky that you do not have far to go for this cruise. We are driving from Wisconsin, so have a ways to go. We are stopping at Glacier National Park along the way. In case you are interested---there are 2 of us interested in doing fish extenders, so if you'd like to do them---just let me know as I am making the list out for those interested.

I'll think about the fish extenders and let you know. I didn't do them last cruise, as I didn't want to have to worry about luggage space (did the Med last summer). We have more room, this time....It almost feels like this is such a short time to plan a cruise; last time we booked 22 months in advance, and now the final payment is 5 months away

I've been to Alaska before, but it was up to Anchorage and surrounding areas. I'm convinced that Denali does not exist...the clouds never lifted so that we could see it! We were able to get to a glacier or two, but I'm excited to be able to sit there and watch them go by. I've been thinking for the past 2 days about what kind of camera lens I'm going to rent to get spectacular pics!!
