"DCL Klondike Kruisers" - August 23, 2011 PART 2

This will also save us on a Taxi for tuesday morning. We can send all the luggage and then we can walk!! I wonder if Vancouver is warm enough to sit by the pool? Should we bring out swim suits in our carry ons?

I was wondering the same thing. I guess we can wait and see what the temp will be.

If summer ever shows up, yes!!! Definitely pool weather on the weekend, today not so much. Wind is up and possible rain shower coming. Just plan on being able to swim and then decide once you board. Hopefully, the weather will be co-operating consistently by then. This is getting to be a pain.

Depends if summer ever shows up. If you are just here for a day. I'd just do capris because you are not going to be wearing them in Alaska.
We get in on Saturday before the cruise......do people wear capris in Alaska? Hubby keeps telling me it's not going to be that cold but I'm not so sure

It looks like most are just wearing jeans. I am bringing mine- positive thinking- if not just to wear over my swimsuit while running to the hot tub!!

I am an early morning deck 10 walker, I wonder if it will be too cold!!!

What are Tommy and Jim going to do to get their early morning coffee!!!

I think it is all relative. We will be leaving 90 - 100 degree weather so 70 is going to feel cold.:scared1:

I could wear capri's in 60-70 degree weather. I think I'm bringing mostly long pants and some short for Vancouver.

You know them, they will have a spot staked out.

I don't think shorts are going to make my packing list. Capris, yes. Bathing suit? Only under duress..

:hippie:k

Shorts are a definite no for me. Capris I will bring but probably won't wear. Bathing suit probably won't make it into my suitcase.

No shorts here either. I took jeans, long pants and capris last time. We went two weeks earlier than this time around. Glad I took the long pants and a few long shirts because we needed them. I'm pretty sure we wore our jeans each time we went into Port.

Definitely taking my bathing suit. Already counting the days until we can go in the hot tub. 4 Weeks TODAY:cool1:

Now that this cruise is less than a month away I'm going to try to keep caught up with this board. I've been thinking about what to take. I've talked to people who have been there and seen pictures posted on Facebook. Looks like everyone is wearing jeans. I do think I'll bring at least one pair of shorts since we live in a cold climate anyway, maybe some capris too. As for the bathing suit, I'd rather have it and not need it than the other way around!

I'll have shorts, mainly due to our 10 days in Vancouver and Seattle prior to the cruise. Otherwise I'll be bringing jeans. I can't do capris due to my "height challenged" self and I can't find them. It's hard to find capris in petite sizes for me also my feet are usually cold even 100 degrees, so I'm usually wearing sneakers and that doesn't go with capris anyway!!! I doubt the shorts will see the light of day except to get washed once onboard!!!!!
