DCL Is This You????

Inspired by the "Is This You" thread in the Theme Parks Community section; I thought it would be cool to start a DCL version. For anyone that doesn't know; it's where people post crowd pictures (or any pictures of strangers), and others try to see if they're in the pics. I don't think anyone has recognized themselves, but it's pretty fun to look.

For here, maybe even post the cruise dates. That would help out A LOT!!!!

I'll start with one pic. I would post more; but I'm on my iPhone, and it's kind of a pain.

I don't have any pictures to post, but wanted to say that I was looking through some pictures that someone had posted from a cruise we were on, and found several pictures of my family and kids. They were nice enough to email me the pictures! It is very fun!

I don't have any to post either but I spotted DH and DS on a random photo posted on our cruise meet thread. Someone had taken a photo of the CC Christmas Tree from their balcony and caught the two in it.

But this is a neat thread. It will be interesting to see how many people find photos of themselves!

Sorry to hijack but may I ask where guests get the little twirly stick flyer things to wave?

We don't recall them on our 1st cruise but on our 2nd we arrived at the SAP a bit too late. Ds found one abandoned and was sad we missed it. This was TG 08. 3rd cruise in Oct we made sure to arrive early but didn't see them anywhere and no one else was waving them either. I had assumed they discontinued them due to cut backs.

We'll be on the Wonder in 12 days and hoping they still give them out but where?

On our last cruise in Oct., I was standing on Deck 10 overlooking the area of the sailaway party when a CM came by handing them out.

We're sailing again next month so think I'll bring mine with me just in case!

The mini streamers are handed out on 7-night and longer cruises. I believe the last 3-night cruise I received one on was in May 2008.

Our cruise on the Magic was 7 nts in Oct 09 and no one had streamers. Also the photo above is from a 4 nt on the Wonder (Sunday sailing).

We were on a 3 night cruise in Jan. and they were handing out the streamers. Last summer we were on a couple of 4 night cruises and they didn't have them. I guess it's luck of the draw if they are available on each sailing.

Cool! As the Disney Magic was passing by...the Sail-Away party was going on. Those folks on the shore were traveling with me...we were sailing the next day on the Wonder!

What a fun idea:

Here's a picture taken by a fellow DISer (pppiglet) and I noticed our family in the middle of the picture so I asked her for a high res copy.

This was taken on 8/17/2008 as the Magic was leaving the Port of LA heading back to Port Canaveral. I know there were just a couple of extra DISers on-board. Anyone else see themselves in front of the ship on that day!
