My insurer told me that if I provide documents showing them that I was refunded the entire amount that I had covered by the policy (airline credits are counted towards that refund) then they would likely refund me the premium. They would have to review it first before they could give me a final answer. They said if for some reason they denied my request, then I could transfer the policy to a future vacation. Because I don’t currently have plans for another vacation, they said I could put the policy “on hold” until I plan one.
