Hey gang. I'm putting together one of those hardcover books you can make with iphoto on a Mac ( Apple iphoto books ) and I was thinking it would be cool to type all the lettering in a font similar to that used by DCL.

I found this one: http://www.myfonts.com/search?params[boolean]=and&params[searchtype]=fonts&search[text]=newport]
(copy and paste this link...disboards doesn't like its brackets)

which is close but not exact (and not free).

Anyone know of a good font to use?

TIA.

Whoops. I should have been more exact in my request. Thanks for the great links but I've already got tons and tons of Disney-ish fonts. What I'm actually looking for is the kind of font used specifically for the cruise line. Like the words "cruise line" at the top of this image:

Anyone ever seen a font like that?

That is Newport and it is not free anywhere, believe me, I've been looking. I finally bought it. Sorry.

I got it at www.myfonts.com. They have two copies of it, one is true type. I think both were under $40, one (not the true type), was under $20.

I made door signs for our trip and I used DecoTech TL to write out part of my sign. It looks Very Similiar. Now that I'm reading the last few posts, I do remember going to a site and downloading a bunch of FREE Fonts. There's Deco Tech and Deco Tech TL. The TL looks just like the one on the Birnbaums book.

Yes, I just checked. Pascha's right, it's The Disney Experience website.
