DCL- do they have different pins on each cruise?

I am looking forward to doing some pin collecting/trading in a couple of weeks on the 4 day cruise (hopefully Sasha will be onboard). Are there new pins that come out for the different cruises or is it all the same?

The short answer based on my experience is yes and no.
There are exclusive holiday pins so if you time your cruise just right
you might get some limited ed pins. The Annual Pin Cruise has exclusive pins. They sell the left overs on later cruises. There are new releases of rack pins from time to time. My guess is if one were to take a cruise every week there would not be new pins every trip. Oh, there are a few boat exclusive pins...the Magic has certain pins that I could not get on the Wonder and vice versa. Don't forget the exclusive Castaway Cay pins.

Gene, thanks for the info. We will be going on the cruise that leaves easter sunday, so it sounds like I might get lucky there? And thanks for the tip about castaway key.

Hi!
Don't forget lanyard trades with the crew. When they let you on board have some pins for cast member trades in your pocket because they will be wearing lanyards when the crew lines up to greet you. Pin trading is every night around dinner time. The location can change. There will be a pin cart with pins on it that you can't get in the store. Ask for the trading book. Don't forget the exclusive build-a-pins in the store.

Thanks again! You have proven to be a gold mine of info. I will follow your advice to the letter. I never even knew that the crew on the cruise wear lanyards. And I probably wouldn't of even packed ours if you hadn't mentioned it. Muchas Gracias!!!

I almost forgot that the Guest Services crew usually are wearing lanyards.
The greeters at the restaurants usually have them on too. Someone usually has a lanyard on in the store. We were on the Wonder last Nov. and scored some Thankgiving cruise pins.
