DCL check in at Hotel?

Good morning,

This question has probably been asked before however cannot find the answer.

I understand that if you were to stay at the Hyatt at MCO on the morning of your cruise they start the DCL port check in progress at the airport/Hyatt before you board the DCL cruise line bus to the port. I heard the rumour that this may extend to the resorts at Disney resort - do you know if this has happened? If you book a Disney value resort (will probably be an All-Stars) does the DCL port check in start at the port or is it started at the resort the night before.

We are trying to weigh up our options, we will probably end up staying at a Disney hotel/Hyatt hotel the night before but the Hyatt currently has more pull with us due to some of the check in being started at the hotel.

Thank you

Can I ask what this means and how it impacts what happens at the port. We have a reservation at the Hyatt for our 5th Disney cruise coming up. We've never stayed at the Hyatt beforehand before.
So, in my experience, you don't have to do anything else at the port once you're checked in at the Hyatt (other than go through security). I've never actually done it any other way!

I have heard the full check in is at MCO and the MCO Hyatt, then you don't get into the regular line with the others checking in. The resorts are still regular check in from what I have seen. I was looking at going to MCO from my resort because of this, but was able to get Palo, so don't need to anymore.
