We're taking our first DCL cruise in October and renting a car before our cruise. However, our return flight home leaves MCO at 1:00 pm and I'm not sure I want the hassle of shuttling back to a car rental place from the port.

Does DCL offer one-way bus service back to the airport after our Western cruise? We are a family of four and looking for a convenient economical solution. THANKS!

You can book one way transfers back to the airport either before you leave or once on board the ship.

It will cost about $100. probably cheaper if you're looking to save a few $$$ to book a car but more of a hassel.

We are planning on doing the transfers once we are on board. MY DH doesn't want to hassel with a car after the cruise. It's worth the couple of extra $$ to us to just get on board the bus and not worry about a car.

this is what we always do to avoid lines getting a car and the hassle of returning. We usually go ahead of time so we get a car to drive over.

I can't remember the exact cost, but it is worth it to do for us.

We actually get it included in the price when we book, and we don't have to do anything but get off the ship and board the bus.

One-way transfers are $25 per person, so your total cost would be $100 if everyone in your party is over the age of 2.

Thanks everyone for your help. I had no idea you could go ahead and book this from the ship. That's definitely the way we're going to go. A little bit more money, but it sounds a lot more convenient. THANKS AGAIN!

The transfers are worth it for us. They take care of your luggage. You get to rest. The movie showing on the small televisions are about the ship. It's a great distraction considering the 45 minute ride. And when you're sitting on the bus and you come over the ridge and see Goofy hanging off the back you don't have to worry about driving off the side of the road. I enjoy the whole trip. We've been 4 times so far and I can say my trip starts as soon as I get off that plane and see the cast members in their little blue uniforms holding up my sign! I think even if I were to need it one way but pay for both ways, I'd still pay it. If you'd just be using it home it's still worth it. Tears blurr my eyes so it's good that DCL is doing the driving.
