Wasn't expecting to sail from Port Canaveral in the next year, but just booked Fantasy for December. Are the resort busses getting to the port sooner than the Hyatt or Airport busses? How do you deal with luggage when taking transport from a resort?

Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand the question exactly. Are you staying at a resort and trying to decide if you want to go back to the airport to then catch a DCL transfer back to Port Canaveral? I imagine leaving straight from the hotel will be faster than going back to the airport. On my most recent DCL bus experience, we still waited over an hour to board the DCL bus to the port. I've taken private transportation back in the days before COVID and every bus or car we took had room for our luggage.

DCL transfers from WDW resorts used to pick-up guests in the late morning, arriving at the port around 1:00/1:30pm. They now pick up early (possibly 8:00am) and are often the first guests to arrive at the port. I can't say whether it's earlier than the buses from MCO, but possibly around the same time.

We stayed at the Coronado Springs on August 20. They came to pick up our luggage around 7:10am. We were told anytime after 7:00am. We met in the Barcelona lounge for 8:15am. We were on the bus by 8:50. We did stop to pick up a couple people at Caribbean Beach. at 19:15 we were at the terminal and were lead to check in, there was hardly anyone there before us. I think we were one of the first busses to arrive.

We cleared security and were waiting to board at 10:30. Our boarding group was #3. The B2B passengers were waiting in the terminal. In fact we were asked if we were part of the B2B group. You can see how empty the terminal was.

While we were waiting to board the family sitting next to us was chosen to be the family of the day. We boarded at 11:50, so it was a bit of a wait but it went quickly.
