I wonder if other people who have used the app to check in and upload documents are as frustrated as I am.
We have a party of seven, who live at separate locations, sailing in two weeks. I wanted to give them instructions on how to upload their vaccination certificates. Yesterday (15 days from our sailing date) I logged in early and tried to use the app to get to the Safe Passage section to upload documents. It was difficult to find the link to the safe passage area, so I sent out an email to everybody with screenshots showing how to navigate to the safe passage link.
Today, when my wife tried to follow the instructions, it turns out that they've totally redesigned this part of the app. If there is a link to the Safe Passage area, it is buried so deep none of us can find it after an extensive search.
A Google search led me to https://dcl.safepassage.com. We entered our data there, but I have no confidence that it will link up with the DCL app.
In the process, we tried to call DCL, but there was a 140 minute hold time.
I fully understand and support the necessity of providing vaccination information prior to cruising.
Disney should make this process as easy as possible. The link to safe passage should be prominently visible, there should be instructions every step of the way (we were unable to take photos for example), and help should be available sooner than 140 minutes.
