Any recent cruisers with teens? How was Vibe? Did your teens find enough activities to keep them occupied or were they bored?

We have a Disney Dream cruise tentatively scheduled for spring break. Kids will be 15 and 17. This will be our 4th DCL cruise and they've been looking forward to one last time together in the club before my oldest ages out. Recently, they've watched a few youtube vlogs and have raised concerns about being bored and the mood on the ship being "weird." I realize that much is likely to change between now and April, but I welcome any insight you may have!

My teens look forward to the Vibe every time. On our most recent cruise (Aug 2021) they were 15 and 16 and still thoroughly enjoyed it. Not quite the same experience as pre-Covid for them but still plenty to do and enough other teens that they made friendships in their brief time together. And they still managed to stay out until past midnight as the scene tends to move to the atrium after Vibe closes.
My oldest aged out this past May and we were hoping to squeeze one last Vibe visit for her but it wasn't meant to be as cruises had not yet resumed. So, she went to the 1820 club meetings on this cruise and while the CM was great, no other 18-20 YO showed up. That was not so great and I could see a scenario where Vibe could have a similar experience.
To quote my College Economics Statistics professor, "It's better to be weird than to be boring." This whole return to cruising has been a little weird. I would encourage you to go and for your kids to embrace the weird. I'd expect you'll have more fond memories from weird experiences than you would from normal ones.

My son really enjoyed Edge on our COVID era trip. Even though there were no icebreakers, he said the teen to cast member ratio was perfect and he could get more attention. On that cruise, I heard there was no 1820 because there weren't any 18-20 year olds on the cruise that showed up!

There were no activities. No he wasn’t bored. I would hope by April things have returned to normal.
