DCL added 30 days to PIF, does Costco do the same?

I have an Aug 2020 Alaska cruise booked with Costco and I got the email from DCL about adding 30 days to the original PIF date.

Costco will process final payment 2 wks before the actual PIF date, per this policy.

I would like to know:

(1) Has Costco also added 30 days to their final payment date now that DCL moved theirs?

(2) I want to confirm I understand something correctly... If make final payment earlier than DCL's PIF date and later cancel before that date, I will still get a complete refund, right? (In other words, if I let Costco auto-pay my Cruise this Saturday, I can still cancel for a full refund as long as I do it by 90 days before we sail instead of the original date of 120 days before we sail.)

Thanks.

My August cruise PIF due date was updated on Costco’s site a couple of days ago. Went from April 3rd to May 3rd.

Oh wow, thanks! I didn’t even know I could look at my cruise on Costco’s site... how/where do I do that? Thanks!

I see that they changed the PIF date by 30 days, but can’t see anywhere that they also changed the “full refund cancellation” timing from 120 day’s down to 90 days. Has anyone seen official language from Disney that August 2020 cruises have changed to a 90 day cancellation policy? I see some blogs have mentioned it, but am not seeing anything officially from Disney or Costco. Thanks

I got an email from Disney on March 21st. After my Res# and my name it says:

We know you may have questions and concerns about the new coronavirus (COVID-19). You should know that we are taking precautionary steps to protect our Guests and Crew Members, such as enhanced screening and elevated cleaning protocols. We are also committed to keeping you informed and updated, and are happy to address any questions you have in advance of your cruise and once you're onboard.

As you may be aware, Disney Cruise Line extended the suspension of new departures through April 12, 2020, in an abundance of caution and in the best interest of our Guests, Cast and Crew. We are currently evaluating various options for sailings beyond April 12 and have not made changes to any itineraries at this time. Once a decision is made, we will reach out to Guests booked on these sailings.

To help relieve some uncertainty, we are automatically extending final payment for an additional 30 days for the following sailings:
  • Disney Dream
    • Sailings embarking June 21 - August 30
  • Disney Fantasy
    • Sailings embarking July 25 - August 31
  • Disney Wonder
    • Sailings embarking July 20 - August 31
  • Disney Magic
    • Sailings embarking August 5 - August 30
Guests who booked their reservation through a travel agent should contact them directly with any questions. Those who booked directly with Disney Cruise Line may call us at 1-866-325-6685 or 407-566-7797. Updates will also be posted online as new information becomes available.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate through these unprecedented times and please note that call volumes may be higher than normal. We look forward to welcoming you aboard and providing you with a magical cruise experience.

Sincerely,

The Cast and Crew
Disney Cruise Line
