We are in the ROFR period for our first pvb resale. If the contract comes through before the end of June, is there still time to book for January 2019 (studio for about 2 weeks)?

Thank you in advance.

You won't know until the points are in your account. Plan for the worse and hope for the best.

January is typically a slower DVC time but depending on the times you are looking at you would probably get blocked over the Marathon weekend. Martin Luther King holiday weekend might also be an issue. Race weekends and holidays are popular DVC times.

Your anticipated time for making a reservation is about 6 months out. Chances are very high that first couple days of January and the Wednesday through Sunday of marathon weekend, Jan 9 to 13, will already be gone. Likely fairly low probability for MLK weekend. Last weekend of January also probably a real problem because it is the NFL Pro Bowl weekend and that is in Orlando again in 2019. Though better chance for other times in the month, you will likely have little chance lor two full weeks. If you could move your two weeks to Feb 1 to 15, you would have good chance of getting it (Feb 1 through the Thursday before Presidents' Day is THE lowest DVC demand time of the year at WDW)

I think the chances of being able to get a 2 week reservation at Poly in January if you try booking it in June are remote, especially if the two week period includes the marathon week. You probably will be able to piece together a reservation for 2 weeks, but not all of it will be at the Poly.

Well, looking at the RAT right now...there's ALMOST two weeks all together in January for both views if you're willing to spill into February. You'll likely have to split stay somewhere else.

Thanks everyone! It's nice to know there's some chance yet.

We're Australians. Mid-December to February is our summer school break. I'm of course dead keen to use our points (if we get them) next year instead of waiting till 2020. This adds to the impatience of waiting for the resale process considerably :(
