I have been to this park 3 times and have never really experienced it. I know sounds weird-lol!

1st visit was when dd was 3-4 , she just turned 12

2nd visit was 1-2 years ago at night for trick or treat. Basically we went to all the candy stations, waited in line forever for buzzlight year ride and went on house of terrors and that was it.

3rd visit was 1-2 weeks ago. It was around 8pm. We just walked the front area down the electronia street then back to the bakey

We have AP's now so next visit we want to checkout DSA and really experience the park

What are some must do's and see's? Is the color show still on?

DH, DD and I plan on having lunch at taste pilots- ribs and we also want to tryout whitewater snacks

We all agreed house of terrors and the roller coaster is a no no for us. Once was enough-lol!

Hm, I'm a bit confused, haha.

House of Terrors = Tower of Terror?

Anyways, must do's at DCA... (other than ToT and Screamin')
World of Color (yes it's still showing)
Aladdin musical at Hyperion Theater (very good show)
Toy Story Midway Mania
Soarin'
Grizzly River Run (if you're okay with getting wet)

I would add one of the most overlooked parts at all of DLR is the Animation Academy at DCA. We can easily spend 60-90 minutes there. See Turtle Talk with Crush if you never have. A Must Do IMO.

Also fun is Its Tough To Be A Bug.

Animation Academy is definitely a must do if you're a fan of the Disney movies. It's so relaxing in there with all the wonderful animation and beautiful music. Beast's Library is my favorite room. Don't forget to take the quiz! :)

But I think Animation Academy is better for when you want to relax and have the time to really take in the scenery and listen to the music. If you're on a tight schedule it wouldn't be as atmospheric because you'd be in a hurry to get to the next destination.

I agree with Hydroguy, we always spend a couple of hours there. Very cool and relaxing.

I agree with everyone above about Animators Academy. We always sit in there and watch all of the clips of the movies pass by and sing the songs and whatnot. It's a great way to really get into the Disney feel :goodvibes Too bad you can't take food in there. We've always wanted to get some Award Weiners and eat them in there :confused3

I really love DCA:love:

The park is really fun all the way around, but I do find its tough to be a bug a hmm how should I put this...interesting experience.

Monsters Inc.
I think this is such a cute dark ride. I know some folks do not give it much love though. All the other good stuff has already been mentioned.
I pretty much dislike all food at DCA. Save the calories for DL or DTD food instead.
