Someone mentioned that there's a singing and dancing show across from Monsters in DCA. They mentioned that the show was a very sweet medley of songs and inspirations.

They also mentioned that at this location there was also a special Meet and Greet for Cinderella, Mickey, and Woody.

Any additional information about the singing and dancing show (or Meet and Greet) would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, in advance. :goodvibes

It's called Drawn to the Magic, and it features a princess (normally Cindy or Snow White), Sorcerer Mickey and Woody. There are three CM "animators" who sing and animate the characters during the show. They also ask for audience participation from three kids, and afterwards the kids can line up for photos/signatures with the characters. It happens several times a day in the Hollywood Backlot. Check your times guide for showtimes.

It is a really cute show only 15 minutes or so. My son loves Woody and when we went last September this was the only Meet and Greet we could find for Woody. We got the best pictures!

It's a fun show and my DS was lucky enough to get picked to go up on stage and say a line that Woody says from the movie. Afterwards, he got to take home the picture of Woody that the animator had drawn on stage.

It is cute :) we stood and watched it for a bit before we rode Monsters. It is a small stage kind of hidden right across from monsters. Not many seats but doesn't look like it gets crowded as it is hidden like I said before LOL

Last month we saw that same show on the sidewalk in front of Disney Animation. Not sure why they had it there.

It was in both locations while we were there. The show is basically an intro for a character meet-and-greet. The down side of the outside venue is that if the weather turns they cut off the meet-and greet. We stood in line after the first show and that happened to us. We went back later in the day with better luck.

Later that week it was outside the Animation building...the perk of that is that they move inside for the meet and greet. It's air conditioned and out of the elements, so you're pretty much guaranteed of getting to see one of the characters that way.

A warning...unless you're first in line, you probably won't be able to get through two lines after one show, so head to your first choice of characters first.
