Hi all! Heading to DLR and wondering if anyone can share their experience with the rides at DCA as someone with a disability? Specifically, I’m realizing there are lots of rides I’m not familiar with as this will be my first time a DCA and need some help figuring out which rides might be problematic for me…
Aside from mobility/standing in lines, which I have covered with my rollator, my most problematic symptoms while at the parks are vertigo, dizziness, and nausea, and rides that spin or jostle riders excessively tend to be this biggest challenges for me. With that in mind, what rides would you suggest avoiding or, at the very least, looking into more to make that judgement call myself?
For context, rides like Ratatouille or Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad are ok, as is Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. Rides like the Mad Tea Party are not. Lol. For thrill rides, I love Tower of Terror, but intense rollercoasters like Expedition Everest are also a no-go (or maybe a ride l’ll do at the very end of the night as I love rollercoasters but know I’m going to feel like crap shortly afterward
).
Thanks so much for your help!!!
