We are planning on hopping to DCA at around 9:30a on a Saturday - park opens at 10am. Trying to see as much as possible before 7pm (including the HS musical show and Aladdin) - then going back over to DL for Fantasmic.

Will we be able to see almost the whole park in this time frame? RideMax is iffy on this. Looks like a runner to the big rides and go straight to the kid's areas - Monsters and Bugs if I'm pulling the best option.

Will this be enough time or will we be running like crazy?

Definately get a fastpass for Soarin. If there aren't to many in your group try the single rider lines for Toy Story and Screamin. If a ride doesn't look good to you pass it by. I would personally skip Jumpin Jellyfish (it was a very slow loader and a very short lame ride.) and the ride in Bugs land that is a bumper car ride. It was horrible in my opinion, very hard to steer for an adult and extremely slow. I would never waste my time on either of those again. Are you planning on doing the 3d shows too? Both the Muppet 3D show and the Bug's 3D show were really good. Much bettter than the Honey I shrunk the Audience one in Disneyland. I think it will really depend on how long lines are if you will be able to do it all. Try and plan around the shows you really want to see. Make sure you have enough time to do everything on the Pier end of the park without having to run to get to Aladin or the HSM show which really isn't that far from Aladin. I think crisscrossing in DCA is a real time eater so avoid that if you can. Get everything done at the Pier either before or after the shows.

Soaring, CA Screamin' and GRR have the longest lines at DCA. ToT has had VERY short lines every time I've ridden it which always surprises me considering how cool of a ride it is and the Monster's inc line was not bad last trip either. Muppets had no line at all last trip which is cool in the short term but makes me worry that it may be replaced in the next couple years (I love this attraction :) ). I would guess that the longest line is going to be TSM (I'll find out in a couple weeks :) ) Don't know how long that line is yet.

If you get to DCA before 9:30, you can hop on Soarin' before the park officially opens and then head Past GRR to Toy Story. Or get a FP for Soarin and get in line for the rope drop by GRR to go straight to Toy Story. Then you have your FP for Soarin for later. From Toy Story I would go straight to Screaming because it's early. Then do PP area and send a runner to get GRR FPs. You could easily finish that whole area in an hour to 1 1/2 hours.Send a runner over to TT for FPs Head over to Bugs Life Area and you could get that done in an hour as well. Grab a bite over in the Wharf area or at Taste Pilots and head over to the backlot and knock out Monsters and Aladin while your food settles before TT. That could take about 2 hours. Head over to Soarin and GRR and then the forest playarea in an hour. Squeeze parade in as they do not get as crowded as the parades at DL. You could easily get it done before Fantasmic. Just be knowledgable of where everything is and get those FPs
