DCA Paradise Bay?

Does anyone know when the water is supposed to be back in Paradise Bay (I think that's the name of it) in DCA? We will be there Dec 18th and I was hoping it would be filled by then...

Definitely by December. They were originally aiming for Labor Day weekend, but now it has been delayed to "sometime this month", but I highly doubt that delays would push it back 2 more months.

NOT what I want to hear!!! But thanks for the feedback. When we went last Nov it was empty (my first time at DCA) and I was really hoping that it would have water this time when we go.

It should be filled in 4 weeks (although I'm assuming that the countdown in your sig is for your next DLR trip). I said that I doubt that it will be delayed longer than later this month.

It's really ugly empty isn't it?! Last time we were there it was emptied too. Yuck! We are going in December this year and I hope to see water in it then.

Thanks....sounds like it should be filled by December, which would make me very happy while I sit and have a drink and some nachos at the Cove Bar! LOL. I was also wondering about dinner on the patio of Wine Country...will the parade be going by at that time? (I read that it's on a different route now because of construction)
