Is there anywhere in DCA to get a margarita to go ?

I love being able to grab one and walk around at Epcot and DHS at WDW. I was hoping I could do it at DCA as well.

Back at the Pacific Wharf there is Baja Coolers, and they have margaritas to go.

How are the margaritas? Do they have any noticeable alcohol in them, or are they pretty weak?

The margaritas at the wharf are pretty weak, but I heard you can add an extra shot (most likely for extra cost too). If you were looking for other drinks, like mojitos and long island ice teas, the drinks during the Mad T Party are much stronger.

This totally isn't what you asked....but know there is also a pomegranate vodka drink at the Cozy Cones. It is on my "must try" list! And you could wander around with that too ;) I found out about it here on the Dis and wanted to share! I think Flo's sells sangria too!

Hey...that is my go to beverage in DCA. :yay:

The margaritas on the wharf are fine...but you have to get the Cadillac Margarita to taste the alcohol.

I believe you are the one who told me about them! Can't wait to try next week :goodvibes

You won't be disappointed Crystal! I may see you there since it is hard for me to leave that area once I get my first VPL. They use a fruit infused foam that I wish I could purchase. I found the manufacturer, but it isn't available for purchase anywhere that I can find. :worried:

That's right! I need to be on the lookout for you on Thursday! You can see what I look like in the photos in my signature =)

I will definitely be on the look out.
Your family is adorable...and such great costumes!

The only difference between the vodka version and the regular version is $4. I think I could absorb more alcohol by accident, like taking a deep breath while someone else does a wine tasting. I was once eating a bread cone for breakfast 15 minutes after the park opened and a woman admitted she'd had 2 already and could feel anything. Maybe I should start early and see if they grow on me.

They only add a shot to each one...if that.
I find the strongest drink in DCA is the Mai Tai at The Cove Bar.

If you want to sneak over to DTD the margaritas at Tortilla Jo's are pretty darn good. Couple it with their OUTSTANDING guacamole and it makes for a fun evening. :)

Note the guacamole goes with the chips and not in the margarita. Unless maybe you have had two or three then you probably would not notice. ;)

Ariel's Grotto has great specialty drinks but they won't let you take them to go. I had to throw back a Long Island Iced Tea in order to line up for WOC. I was definitely feeling that drink! Lol

They're tasty, but not strong at all.
