Disneyland Monorail Update:
As construction continues on the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, The Disneyland Mnorail will operate with only one train and provide one way trips, effective Dec. 15(until further notice)
--- During peak hours (near opening and closing) the Disneyland Monorail will be available exclusively to Guest of the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort (Require Hotel ID to board)
--- Guest may experiance extended wait times.

They just announced (in Mouseplanets latest park update) the January dates for Haunted Mansion overlay renewal. It closes the 8th... I forget the reopening date... something like the 18th. Bummer! I was hoping it would be like last year, when it was later in the month.

One of these days I will see the overlay!

The official dates for the removal of the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay are now on the calendar. The ride will be closed January 8 - 18. A similar closure for "it's a small world" is not yet official, but most likely would begin around January 3 and last 10 days to two weeks.

dont believe what a lot of the places say. Some arnt really true... we talk about a lot of lies and myths past around at work... some are pretty funny... but i will have the official list next month hopefully.

Like i said, i only got up to 3 months... the Jan list isnt even out yet.

Actually, the Haunted Mansion closure in January is up on the disneyland website so it's not a rumor....I'm hoping that the Jan. 3 rumor for two weeks or less is right for Small World so it will be up and running again when we get there!

Yikes, no Splash in Feb! Hopefully this means Pirates will be up. I can't imagine they would have 2 majors down for extended refurb at the same time.

this is for just january...POTC will go down probably the following month and yes they will have 2 majors down at the same time

Thanks for the list! That defiantely helps. I just hope for everyones sake that Splah and Pirates doesnt go down at the same time. That would be horrible as those are 2 major rides in the park.
