So, I know an imagineer working on the Carthay Circle Theater project right now, and Thursday she went to an on site meeting/walkthrough of the project and came back to show me a few pictures and videos of the site. I asked how the project was coming along, and she said everything was really great and furniture was coming soon. She then let slip that as long as they continue on at the same rate of work, the whole entrance area and Carsland would be opening according to schedule. I asked her what the schedule was and she told me.....

MAY 2012!

So we know the month they are shooting for now, everyone cross your fingers that nothing happens to get them off schedule (rain, earthquakes, technical issues, etc...)

Thanks so much, SarafinaPink! That's great information!

Now, I still wouldn't book a trip in early June assuming everything will be open. We still have the winter rainy season to get past. But it's looking good so far!

Very interesting, thank you for sharing.

From what I've noticed in picture on various sites.
They just started working on the last bit of the old entry that was untouched.
Carsland has a lot of finish work complete. Signs on Lizzy's curio shop for example.
A lot of the scrims around the CCT came down in the last few days and you can get a decent idea of what the exterior entails.
Ride testing has been seen on all 3 attractions. RSR has had a car spotted going slowly during that day.
It's reported that the first Red Car Trolley will be delivered to DCA tomorrow.
The steel work at the very front of DCA suggest it will be gettig skinned very soon.
