DC with small 6 year old, advice

We are going to DC in November, and my youngest DS will just be 6. Will the swim vests and masks fit him OK? I have a small mask and snorkel for him at home, is it a good idea to bring it? Also, since he is small, has anyone ever had a problem with proving your child was 6 for the dolphin swim? I was wondering if I should bring his birth certificate along? Thanks for your help!

We haven't been yet (we are going in November), but I called before we made reservations to make sure that they had a swim vest and wet suit that would fit a 3 year old. I would just call and ask them if I were you about the snorkel gear and the birth certificate as well. I also asked them about their kiddy menu just to make sure.
