Hello all-

We are going to DC in October (b4 our DCL cruise) and was wondering...

- If we stay until the park closes, around 4 or 5ish, is it too much to go to SW for a couple of hours? Are you really exhausted?
- Anyone know how late SW stays open on a friday night in Oct?
- Is there a shuttle from DC to SW?

I hope we can do this because we are given the 7 day pass to SW with our admission and I'd hate for it to go to waste as we are going to Disney after we get off our cruise and won't have time to use it then. I know we won't do even half the stuff at SW but after being at DC all day, we could skip the fish stuff and just maybe get some rides in. Any thoughts are appreciated!

Discovery Cove is a very relaxing day, so personally I was more ready for evening entertainment that day than any other.

Sea World's web site may list their hours for October this early?

So if we are fortunate to wind up with a few hours at SW after DC, what are your "must dos"?

BTW, I am loving your trip report!

For us the must do's would be Kraken, the tallest coaster in Orlando. Blue Horizons, an amazing whale, dolphin, bird and acrobat show. Then if there is time we would do Pets Ahoy, a show that mainly has animals without humans 'acting', and Clyde & Seamore, the sea lion show.

If you get to ride Atlantis then do NOT sit in the front left seat unless you want an early bath!:lmao:

All of the animal exhibits are easy to see as you go past, with the exception of the dolphin lagoon, penguins and sharks there is no line to stand in. You'll have spent the day with dolphins anyway and the other two have moving walkways which keep line times to a minimum.

To answer your question about getting to Sea World, it is directly across the street from Discovery Cove so you can walk.;)

Thanks for the kind words about the report, DC is the next day I need to post, so look back later.
