DC Renewal?

I am not sure if this has been posted since I haven't been on the boards for several months, but I have a question about renewing my DC. I know that the Disney Club is ending 12/31/03. My membership runs out in February 2003. My family just decided on a December 2003 trip, so we would be able to take advantage of the discounts for park tickets and during our trip. Will I be allowed to renew through the end of 2003 and how do I go about doing so. I was waiting for them to send me information on this, but I haven't gotten anything so I decided to come to the best source of information, the DIS. Thanks in advance!

Checkout this recent post for details. The DC was not supposed to be taking any more renewals after mid-December but you may still be able to renew. Good Luck.

Based on that other thread I just renewed on Tuesday. Just call the Disney Club 800 number. Tell them that your DC membership is expiring at the end of February and you heard that you might be able to renew it through the end of the program (12/31/03). Give them your membership number and they will be able to look you up in the system. What they offered me was to renew my membership at a prorated rate. Ours ended Aug 31, so the renewal was for 4 months and they charged me $9.98 (1/3 of the $29.99 rate) and I paid with a credit card over the phone. It was very simple. Good luck.
