DC renewal for current members through 12/31

I read on another post that current DC members can renew their membership through the end of the year at a pro-rated fee, is this true?
Mine expires 10/31 but would definitely pay for itself if I renewed it through 12/31.

I have heard of others getting it renewed on a pro-rated basis in the past month of so. Call them up and ask about it!

I renewed in May through the end of the year. They pro-rated the charge. Call the Disney Club member line and they'll help you.

Thanks to these boards, I now have my card extended though 12/31! I wouldn't have known otherwise.
I called 1-888-347-6394
I had my membership extended through 12/31 for $7.49.

(I also booked my room for the first half of our trip at POR through DC and she said to call back when AP rates come out. I told her I will be among the first to call!!)
