DC refund-How long?

I made a ressie thru DC a while back-had paid 500.00 on my credit card. I cancelled the ressie on tuesday in order to make a new one. CM said that the payment I already made will be credited back to my credit card-How long will it take for it to show up on my credit card? I just checked my balance by telephone banking which is up to the minute current and it has not yet been refunded to credit card. So how long???

They told me 4 to 6 weeks but actually it took less than 2 weeks. But this was for a check. You should have yours in a couple of days max!

I had paid a deposit on a ressie through DC w/my debit card and the refund showed up in about a week.

When I cancelled my DC ressie this week and changed it to a code, they told me 10 days for the credit to be issued on my AmEx.

**Update - I just checked my AmEx online, it was credited the next day! They charged the new reservation and credited the old.
