Anyone notice that using the contract code on the DC site isn't getting a discount (The 504xxxx number)? I've tried to price two different ressies at different times of year...no discount...bit the old DC code (590xxxx number) works fine and gets a discount. Does the site have a wrong code number posted?

I have noticed that as well. I tried it a couple of times the last week or so and no discount. I was just assuming it was due to a black out date, maybe that wasn't it. All I know is National's prices seem to be among the highest for the times I am travelling this year. This wasn't the case last year. I will keep checking.

I get an error notice saying invalid code number using the 504 number. Someone goofed somewhere. :)

The code I was given for national car rental through the DCC was 6600411, and it was invalid when I tried to plug it in through the internet. However, when I called up national on the phone, they accepted the #. Go figure. However, the rates were really high, I thought, for a 5 day stay. I want a car I can get at the airport without having to take a shuttle to. If anyone can help with something better, please share! Thanks.

If your trip is later in the year, I would wait until August or September to book. Rates have gone down the past 3 years that time of year. I always book my December & following May trips around that time. I just got back - paid $137 including tax for EA Full Size, 7 days. Made the reservation in October.

Debbie, now that you mentin it, that does seem to be the time of year to get a good rate. Also, I'll book a rate that is "OK, not fantastic", but keep checking the website often. I booked May 28 to June 5 full size in October and got a rate of $167 (8 days). But the 10 day ressie for Dec. that I just booked is $270, I'll keep checking and hope it drops, if it doesn't, at least I DO have a car.

DC contract id code starts with a 5******

the free day off for weekend or other codes for coupons usually start with a 1*******

do not know where that 504 came from

but no wonder it comes up invalid....

It is coming from The Disney Club's website as the Contract Id for a 20% discount off rates up to a full size car....

Well, there have been mistakes on the Disney Club stuff before. I've had problems with their website and with the National one too, so who know for sure where the error is?

From the DC website - can you find the mistake?
"To gear up for the release of Walt Disney Pictures upcoming animated feature, Lilo & Stitch, we've declared that every Friday in the month of May is... Aloha Friday's!! "

It's just a little grammatical one. You see this mistake everywhere. It drives me crazy!

Just call national and ask them what the contract ID number is for the Disney Club. They will give it to you over the phone and then you can enter it.
