DC-Black Friday 2021Purchase without Firm Travel Date?

I have my first trip to DC next week and if I love it, I'd like to go again.

I keep reading about the Black Friday Sale which would be in November 2021. There is absolutely no way that I will know in November 2021 when I plan to be in Orlando in 2022.

When you take advantage of the Black Friday sale, do you have to pick a specific date or are you given some sort of voucher?

I purchased our DC tickets for this summer during the Black Friday Sale. You do have to choose a specific date to purchase.

I actually ended up having to change my date a few months later, and they allowed me to do so with no charge. The rule is that the new date must be within 2 weeks of the original reservation (either 2 before or 2 after). When you stay within this timeline you can keep your original price.

If you purchase quick queue for Sea World or Busch Gardens and change your date you will lose your Black Friday discount when you move it.

For DC it was basically just discounted tickets. The actual amount of the discount varied depending on the date you chose, but it was a good deal. When I compare what I paid back in November (for my date in July), it is pretty much half of the current price.

Sea World, Aquatica, and Busch Gardens also have great deals for Black Friday. Quick queue was half off, and I believe the dining plans were buy 2/get 1 half off. Tours, Photo Key, and animal feeding trays were 50% off.

It’s a great deal if you are firm with your dates.
